		<description>I agree fully with the author&#039;s argument that projects head down an uncertain path that inevitably require tradeoffs be made in the quest to provide the best value package to the customer and it is unlikely the end result aligns 100% with the original expectation.

I think that the conclusions from the survey are partially correct.  The suggestion I am hearing from the author is that a PM should modify the stakeholders&#039; schedule and costs expectations to provide the desired software utility.  It is just as valid an argument to say the PM should modify the stakeholders&#039; scope expectation so that a product actually gets delivered (i.e. 80% solution now vs. 100% solution never).</description>
